A professional Photographer with already four years of experience at only the age of 22. I pride myself in being open and approachable, building strong relationships with employers and clients. I am passionate about every aspect of photography from the planning stages right through to the post production and am not afraid to go back to the drawing board until the client is satisfied with what I have produced.
Although there will always be more to learn. With an A in my photography A level combined with my extensively varied portfolio, I have shown my great understanding of the mechanics of photography. Displaying that I have been committed to learning about the art form and will improve with every new shoot.
On Christmas 2007 I got my first camera. It was a small digital camera made by Lego of all people and I immediately became obsessed with it. Having a grandfather who was an avid fan of photography and seeing him shoot with the big bulky canons and Sony Hi-8’s of the late nineties I finally had one that I could say was mine. From here my passion grew but only as a hobby. Making stop motion animations, movies and even comedy skits with friends after school. However I unfortunately never really saw it as anything more than a hobby. It was only around the age of 16 after finishing my GCSE’s and looking into the different A-Level courses schools offered, that I realised that it was a possibility I could turn this passion of mine into a career.
A similar path was followed by my passion for motorsport. Having been fortunate to grow up in a household breaching with classic motorsport memorabilia of Le Mans and the classic Aston Martin Victory of 1959, I almost thought it the norm that everybody wanted to be a racing driver. It was only when I first started to attend a local Karting track and topping the monthly leader boards that I ignited an obsessive passion with racing and motorsport as a whole. I loved the fantastic blend of instinct and precision and entered my first open race at Daytona Sandown Park expecting to use it as a learning experience to see how the professionals took to the track. But after ending up on the front row after qualifying, I finished first! This rush of emotions and excitement stemming from just a small open race at a Go Karting track pushed my passion over into obsession and I knew immediately that I wanted to go into racing as a professional. From here I have worked tirelessly to improve every single aspect of my racing. From the on track driving side and also just as importantly, on the off track mechanical side of the sport.
It was from combining these two passions of mine that I was able to take up Motorsport and Automotive photography so quickly. Focusing my talent in both fields to be able to represent and capture motorsport in a unique way, telling the stories of every aspect that goes in to taking home the win, or loss.
I am always happy to talk, whether it be about photography, motorsport or anything in between! feel free to contact me.
