The Goodwood festival of speed was by all means a complete assault of the senses. An event I have been a fan of for many years and notorious around the world for showcasing some of the most beautiful and impactful feats of engineering from all over motorsports long history.
Shooting here first in 2019 was a huge eye-opening experience, and one that I learnt so much from. In how I take my photos, the angles I look for and even how I organise my schedule. I finally returned in 2021 after my photography had matured and I had time to develop my style. On my return I was able to capture even more extraordinary imagery, even earning myself a reputation with the engineers of the Aston Martin Valkyrie when they requested an exclusive limited print run of my images of their star car at the event, the Aston Martin Valkyrie. However on both occasions I have shot some of my best work at the festival of speed with it’s endless list of legendary cars and drivers. It is an event I will always keep free and cant wait to return to.
