The Goodwood Revival is an unmissable event for any level of motorsport fan. A re-living and re-telling of the golden years of motorsport. It is a fantastically atmospheric event in which you can see some of the worlds rarest and most sought after classic cars blasting around a track, racing wheel to wheel.
As I photographed this event for the first time I was consumed by the energy of it all. Arriving early for the late sunrise I could play with the sharp sunlight as it pierced through the open garages. Before heading to the pits and trackside for the racing.
Shooting for TVR as they had cars involved in a race that day. I couldn’t stop myself going back out and shooting every race in the day as the different era’s of car on track where constantly creating new scenes and imagery for me to experiment with and create some of my best compositions to date.
I am desperate to get back to the Goodwood venue to shoot again and am certain I will find myself back at the Revival very soon.
