LE MANS 24 HOURS
The 24 Hours of Le Mans has been the highlight of my career as a photographer.
It is an event that anyone in the motorsport circles know is fueled with so much passion and rich history, the likes of which almost no other race can compare. I had the opportunity to shoot for LMP1 team Rebellion’s title sponsor TVR. Although not being able to be granted photographic access, I did not let this factor limit my shots for the client as I poured over forums and blogs, researching the best shots around the 8.5 mile track to photograph. Although this was eased by the pit passes I was able to acquire through my client.
Photographing at this event for two years has been a breath taking experience and one that I hope to continue every year. I have come away with some of my best work, along with my personal favorite shot of Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Buemi riding through the pits atop their race winning Toyota in 2018.
